Author Spotlight: Case Keenum — The Undrafted Quarterback Who Never Stopped Getting Up
A deep dive on Case Keenum — the Brownwood-born, Abilene-raised quarterback who became college football's all-time leading passer at Houston and then went undrafted; the journeyman backup who threw the 'Minneapolis Miracle' and led the Vikings to the 2017 NFC Championship game; his defining reflections on being knocked down, on priorities, on identity, and on proving people right; and the legacy of the 38-year-old third-stringer who, on Monday Night Football in September 2026, made the first start of a 1,009-day comeback and beat the Eagles, becoming the oldest player in Bears history to score a rushing touchdown and one of only two quarterbacks ever to win a game as a starter for seven different franchises.
